How to Display Your Staff on Your Website

Learn how to effectively showcase your team on your Clinic Sites website.

Your staff page is a great way to help potential patients get to know your team. With Clinic Sites, you can either automatically pull in staff profile photos and bios via Jane integration or manage profiles manually using User blocks. This guide walks you through how to display, edit, and customize staff members on your About page and any other page of your website.

Before you start

You’ll need Admin access to add or edit users. If your Jane account is integrated, your staff will sync automatically to your Clinic Sites website. If not, you’ll manage your staff manually through the Users area in the Admin settings.


How to Manage Your Staff Page (Jane Integration)

Staff members listed in Online Booking in Jane will automatically appear on your Staff page through the Jane Staff block. Any updates to staff bios or profile photos must be made directly in Jane. 

The display order of staff cannot be changed when using the Jane Staff block. To adjust the design of the Jane Staff block, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to your About page or whichever page displays your staff members.
  2. Scroll till you reach your Jane Staff Block and click Edit Block
  3. Click Layouts, select a layout that works well for your clinic. 
  4. Click the Set Layout button to save your changes. 



How to manage your Staff page using the Users feature

If you're not using Jane sync, you can build your Staff page manually using Users and User blocks. This can be a great option if you are using the Jane sync but need to change the order in which your staff are displayed.

  1. First, you'll want to make sure that all of your staff members are in your Clinic Sites website, and if you're missing staff, you'll want to add them manually.
  2. Click Admin in the top right corner and click Users in the dropdown.
  3. Click the Add Users button. 
  4. You can now fill in the team member’s details, like their name, title, email, bio, profile photo, and group. A group will allow you to organize your staff in groups (eg, Practitioners and Office Administration) 
  5. Click Save Profile after each addition.
  6. Next, you'll want to display users using a User block by navigating to your About Us page or Staff Page.
  7. Click the Add Block button on the left, and select Users.
  8. If you'd like to display another group of staff, click the pencil icon , and scroll till you reach Select a group to display and select the group you wish to display from the dropdown. Click Update Block to save your changes.  
  9. Customize block design preferences by clicking Edit Block
  10. To reorganize your Staff hierarchy, hover over the Staff member's image and use the reorder button  to drag the Staff member into the preferred place.
  11. Your changes will be automatically saved. 



How to Display Your Staff on Other Pages

You’re not limited to displaying staff on the About page. You can use the Jane Staff block or the User block to add your team to any page on your Clinic Sites website. 

  1. Navigate to whichever page you want your staff to appear. 
  2. Click the Add Block button on the left-hand side of your page to add a block.
  3. If you have your Jane account integrated with your Clinic Sites website, you can select the Jane Staff block to display your staff. If you manage your staff manually, select the User block instead.
  4. Customize block design preferences by clicking Edit Block
  5. Your changes will be automatically saved. 




You're good to go! Whether you’re syncing staff from Jane or building your staff page manually, your site now has a professional way to showcase your team. Patients will feel more connected before they even book an appointment. Great job!

Note

If your site is synced with Jane, staff display order cannot be changed. For more control over layout or placement on multiple pages, consider using User blocks even if you're using Jane sync.
