Default images are built into your Clinic Sites website to make your site look polished even before you upload your own visuals. This guide will show you how to manage those default images by adding new ones, removing the ones you don’t need, saving favorites, and using them throughout your site.

How to Save a Default Image to Use in Other Image Areas

If you love the default images on our site, but want to set them to a specific image area so that they stay there permanently, you'll have to save them to your computer and then re-upload them in that specific area.

  1. Click Admin in the top right corner of your dashboard and click Design in the dropdown.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Default Images.
  3. Hovering over the image you want to save, click Full Size.
  4. Once your image is displayed in a window, right-click on the image and select Save Image As...
  5. Your computer will ask you where you want to save your image. We recommend your Downloads folder.
  6. Now, on your Clinic Sites website, navigate to the page and image area where you wish to upload your newly saved Default Image.
  7. Click the Edit Image button in the section where you'd like the image uploaded.
  8. Click the Add Image button and select the image from the folder you saved it in.
  9. Click the Update Block button to save your changes.

You're all set! You’ve now added, removed, or locked in default images so your website better reflects your clinic’s visual style. Whether you're using your own visuals or customizing the built-in defaults, your site will now feel more consistent to every patient.

Note

Default images rotate randomly on each page load unless you manually upload a specific image into a block. If you want a certain image to stay in one place, download it from your default image list and re-upload it directly to the block where you want it displayed.
