How to set your image crop focus

Learn how to accurately set the crop focus on your images.

The crop focus feature lets you control how images are centered on your Clinic Sites website by choosing one of nine focal points. 

By default, images are centered both vertically and horizontally, but depending on the layout or screen size, parts may be cropped. Setting a custom focus makes sure the most important part of your image stays visible.

Before you start

To change the crop focus of an image, you'll need to make sure you're logged into the Admin side of Clinic Sites.


How to set the crop focus

Image crop focus allows you to control which part of your image remains visible as it adjusts to different screen sizes and layouts. Follow the steps below to set it up.

  1. Navigate to the page with the image content you wish to make changes to. 
  2. Click Edit Image.
  3. Hover over the image until the crop focus grid appears
  4. Select the point on the image you want the site to prioritize (e.g. center, top right, bottom middle).
  5. Click the Update Block button to save your changes.




Great job! Your image will now stay focused on the section you chose, ensuring that your patients are seeing the image as you intended.
