Publishing blog posts is a great way to educate patients, boost your SEO, and keep your website active. This guide walks you through how to create and publish a new blog post for your website.

Before you start

You’ll need Admin access to your Clinic Sites website to create and publish blog posts. You'll also need to haveĀ a blog tab in your Main/Navigation Menu.Ā 


How to Create and Publish a New Blog Post

These steps will guide you through writing, formatting, and publishing a blog post using your Clinic Sites Blog.Ā 

  1. Navigate to your Blog tab in your main/navigation menu.
  2. Click the pencil icon in the top left corner of your page and choose Add Blog Post.
  3. Add a Title and a Subtitle for your post.
  4. Choose an Author from your list of staff.
  5. Use the Text Editor to write your post and apply formatting such as bold, links, or section headers.
  6. To add an image, scroll to the Images section and click the Add ImageĀ button, and then click Choose File to upload your image. Toggle on Do Not Compress Image Upon UploadĀ and add descriptive alt text for accessibility and SEO.
  7. To embed a video, paste the video URL into the Video URLĀ section.
  8. To add downloadable files, scroll to the File Downloads section, click the Add File AttachmentĀ button, and upload the file.
  9. Choose where you'd like the blog post to appear by toggling on if you'd like your blog to appear on the blog page only, or both on the Blog page and inside a Blog block.
  10. To publish the blog, add a Publish DateĀ (future or past), or toggle the publish setting off to keep it saved as a draft.
  11. When you're ready, click the Save Blog Post button to save your changes.



That’s it! Your new blog post is now live on your website. Whether you’re sharing clinic updates, educational content, or wellness tips, blogging is a powerful way to stay connected with your audience.
