How to Add a Block

Learn how to easily add a block within your Clinic Sites website.

Blocks are the structure your Clinic Sites website is built from. Whether you're adding a gallery, a testimonial block, or a contact form, blocks allow you to structure your content. This guide walks you through how to add a new block to any page on your Clinic Sites website.

Before you start

Make sure you're logged into your Clinic Sites account and on the page where you want to add a block.


How to Add a Block

In the step-by-step instructions below, you’ll learn how to open the block editor, browse the available block types, and add one directly onto your page.
 

  1. After logging into your Clinic Sites website, navigate to where you'd like to add a block.
  2. Hover between existing blocks on the left side of your page, and click Add Block .
  3. Click on your desired block type from the Choose a block type dropdown, and your block will be created.
  4. To start editing your block content, click the Pencil Icon.
  5. To make design changes to your content block, click the Edit block  button on the right-hand side of your page. 

Great job, you’ve just added a new block to your site! Blocks help keep your content organized, making it easier for patients to navigate your website.

Note

You can add as many blocks as you'd like to a page. Each block is designed to adapt to mobile, so your site stays responsive.
