How to Edit a Blog Post

Learn how to edit your blog posts on your Clinic Sites Website.

Need to update a published blog or fine-tune a draft you post it? This guide walks you through how to find, edit, and save changes to any of your blog posts on your Clinic Sites website.

Before you start

You’ll need Admin access to your Clinic Sites website to create and publish blog posts. You'll also need to have a blog tab in your Main/Navigation Menu. 


How to Edit a Blog Post

These steps show you how to access and update your published blog posts.

  1. Navigate to your Blog tab from your top navigation menu.
  2. Scroll down to find the post you want to update.
  3. Click the pencil icon  on the post to open the blog editor.
  4. Make any changes to the title, text, or images as needed.
  5. Once you're finished, scroll down and click the Save Blog Post button.


How to Edit an Unpublished (Draft) Blog Post

You can also view and update blog posts that haven’t been published yet.

  1. Navigate to your Blog tab from your top navigation menu.
  2. Click the pencil-in-circle icon  in the top left corner of the Blog tab to open the blog option dropdown.
  3. Click the Unpublished Blogs menu item.
  4. Hover over the draft you want to update.
  5. Scroll down to find the post you want to update.
  6. Click the three-dot circle icon  on the right and click Edit from the dropdown. 
  7. Make your changes and click Save Blog Post to update your draft.



That’s it! You’ve successfully updated your blog post, whether it was already published or still in draft. Keeping your posts fresh and relevant helps improve your website content and connect with your audience.

Note

You can edit both published and unpublished posts at any time. Just be sure to hit Save Blog Post when you're done, so your updates are applied.
