Your header is the first thing patients see, and it sets the tone for your entire page. Adding a video or image to your header is a great way to visually communicate what your page will contain. This guide will walk you through how to add an image or video directly into your header.
Â
How to Add an Image to Your Header
You can add a high-quality photo to your header to reflect your clinicâs branding or visual identity.Â
Â
- Navigate to the page with the header that you wish to change.
- Click the Customize Header button.
- Under Images, click the Add Image button.Â
- Next, click the Choose File button to select an image to upload. We suggest images that are 1500px wide by 784px high.
- Toggle on Do not compress image on upload.
- Before uploading the image, make sure to add Alt Text in the Alt Text box. You'll want to describe what the image is depicting. (Example: Clinic waiting room with natural lighting).
- You'll also want to make sure Responsive header image is also toggled on. When enabled, the header image adjusts its size on smaller screens to prevent it from being cropped.
- Click Save Custom Header to save your progress.Â
How to Add a Video to Your Header
If youâd like to use a short video instead of an image, you can embed a video from Vimeo into your header.Â
- Upload your video to Vimeo. Â
- Copy your video's URL (Example format:Â https://vimeo.com/12345678)Â
- Navigate to the page with the header that you wish to change.
- Click the Customize Header button.
- Under Background video url, paste your Vimeo video URL.Â
- You can choose to toggle Display video on mobile devices, if you want your video to play for patients visiting your website from their mobile devices. This may impact load times of your site on mobile devices.
-
Click Save Custom Header to save your progress.

Nice work! With your new image or video header in place, your page now has a strong visual focus that helps tell your clinicâs story at a glance. This is a great step toward building a professional online presence for your clinic.Â
