Your Clinic Sites website is built out of content blocks. From testimonials and contact forms to images and text media, blocks create a clean layout that guides patients through your site. With sixteen unique blocks to choose from, this guide will break down what each block is for, how to use it effectively, and best practices that ensure your site stays organized and accessible.

Things to know

Certain block types are only accessible to clinics that use Jane as an EHR (Jane Locations, Jane Disciplines, and Jane Staff).


Jane Locations Block

This Jane exclusive block ensures that your clinic’s address and contact information are always consistent with what appears in your Jane account.

Jane Disciplines Block

This Jane exclusive block showcases each discipline offered at your clinic, giving the title, the description, and the practitioner(s) who offer the discipline.

Jane Staff Block

This Jane exclusive block syncs over your practitioner's basic information, chiefly their name, title, biography, and staff photo. This block is mainly used on the About page of your Clinic Sites website.

Text Media Block

This block is used to showcase your text content. You can choose various layouts that allow you to add an image next to your text, or just display your text on its own.

This block is used to showcase multiple images that each link to a page or section of your site. It's commonly used to highlight services or service methodology.

This block is used to display a collection of images, with one image being highlighted at a time. It’s often used to show off your clinic space, staff, or event photos. You can upload multiple images at once.

Video Block

This block is used to feature a video on your page. You can embed a YouTube link to display a welcome video, patient testimonial, or educational content. It’s a great way to bring motion and personality to your site.

Events Block

This block is used to highlight upcoming events at your clinic. You can edit the block title and choose from different layout options. As you add events, they will automatically appear in this block. It’s a helpful way to keep patients informed about workshops, open houses, or special programs.

Blogs Block

This block is used to showcase your most recent blog posts. You can adjust the block title and choose from different layout styles. As you publish new posts, they’ll automatically appear in the block, making it easy to share new blog articles with your patients.

Users Block

This block is used to display users on your website, such as clinic staff or team members. You can customize each user with a name, photo, and bio. This is an especially useful block to display administrative staff members.

Icons Block

This block is used to add visually appealing icons to your page to highlight features, services, or key information. You can choose from a variety of icons and customize their size, colour, and layout to match your clinic’s style. It’s a great way to make important details stand out and improve readability.


Contact Form Block

This block allows patients to get in touch with your clinic directly through your website. You can customize the fields (like headings, a compliance message, what information you wish to collect) and choose which email address receives the form submissions. It’s an essential way to make communication simple for new or returning patients.

Map Block 

This block displays a map showing your clinic’s location. It helps patients find you quickly and adds credibility by showing that your clinic has a physical address. You can choose whether to display your full address beside the map.

Testimonials Block

This block lets you highlight positive feedback from your patients. You can add individual testimonials with names and optional photos to highlight the real experiences people have had at your clinic.
