As a reminder, your site syncs with Jane every 24 hours automatically, but you can force a manual refresh when needed.

Jane Sync Roadblocks

Below are the top reasons Jane data might not be appearing on your site, with clear, step-by-step fixes to help you troubleshoot efficiently.

The Automatic Sync Hasn’t Happened Yet

  1. As your website syncs with Jane once every 24 hours, there may be a delay after making changes in Jane before you see those changes in your Clinic Sites website.Ā
  2. To have those changes sync over immediately, click the Jane Sync button in the top toolbar in Clinic Sites.
  3. Wait until the button finishes spinning.
  4. Refresh your website by clicking the refresh buttonon your browser window.
  5. New content, like staff profile photos or services, should now appear.

Jane Integration Settings are Turned Off

  1. If your Jane Account is not connected to your Clinic Sites website or your sync options are disabled, your site won’t pull updated data. To remedy this, click Admin, then choose SettingsĀ from the dropdown.
  2. Click Jane Integration from the left sidebar.
  3. Ensure all relevant items (staff, disciplines, treatments, etc.) are toggled on.
  4. Click the Save SettingsĀ button.
  5. If this is checkmarked, but it still isn't syncing, contact us atĀ support@clinicsites.coĀ so we can enable Jane sync for your website.

Your Online booking Page Isn’t set to Public or Linked Correctly

  1. Sync requires public access to your Jane booking page. If it redirects to a login or is private, Clinic Sites can't pull the latest content.
  2. Log in to your Jane account.
  3. Navigate to Settings >Ā Online Booking.
  4. Make sure at least one staff member, service, and treatment is marked ā€œAvailable on Online Booking.ā€
  5. Click the Save button to save your changes.

  1. Even if your Jane Online Booking is public, the sync will fail if your services aren’t linked to a staff member and a location. To run through how to set up those links in Jane, take a look at our guideĀ How to Set Up Your Jane Account to Sync with Clinic Sites.
  2. In Jane, ensure each treatment is tied to a discipline.
  3. Confirm each service includes a staff member who is available for that treatment.
  4. Confirm that those staff are assigned to a location.
  5. Save your changes in Jane.Ā
  6. Back on your Clinic Sites website, run a manual sync using the Jane Sync button .

If your sync issue still isn’t resolved after trying these steps, email our Support team at support@clinicsites.co and we’ll help you out.Ā

Note

Keeping the Jane sync working smoothly depends on having staff, services, and treatments correctly linked and publicly available. Otherwise, only partial information will come through, and updates won’t appear as expected.
