How to make a store front

Learn the essential steps to create an inviting and visually appealing storefront for your clinic.

Selling products like supplements, rehab tools, or digital resources can be a great way to support your patients and generate additional revenue for your Clinic. With Clinic Sites, you can easily add a storefront to your website so clients can browse and buy with confidence. 

Each storefront operates a bit differently; some have embeddable code to add to your existing site, and others need the products to be purchased on their platform directly. If you’re unsure of how your e-commerce platform works, you can reach out to them directly for directions. 

This guide will walk you through how to add a storefront for both options... let's get started!

Before you start

To add a functional storefront to your Clinic Sites website, you’ll need to use a third-party e-commerce platform like Ecwid, Square, or Shopify. These tools allow you to manage products, accept payments, and handle orders.


How to Add a Storefront Using Embeddable Code 

If the e-commerce platform you choose offers embeddable code, you'll want to use the custom code block feature. This allows you to paste the embed code provided by the e-commerce platform so your store appears directly on your Clinic Sites page. 

  1. Set up your products on the platform you’ve chosen.
  2. Navigate to the page you wish to add your storefront. This may include making a new page for that storefront specifically.  
  3. Click Add Block and select Custom Code.
  4. Click the Pencil icon
  5. In the HTML block, paste in your embedded storefront code. 
  6. Click Update Block to save your progress.

 




Great job! Your clients can now purchase your products right from your site, and 


If your e-commerce platform requires customers to purchase items directly from their site, then you can advertise your products and link out to that platform from your Clinic Sites website.  

  1. Set up your products on the platform you’ve chosen.
  2. Navigate to the page you wish to add your storefront. This may include making a new page for that storefront specifically.  
  3. Click Add Block and pick a block type of your choice. Some popular options are Image Links, Text Media, or Icon blocks. 
  4. Edit the block to include photos of your products and include links to your chosen e-commerce platform. 
  5. Click Update Block to save your progress.






You're good to go! Your storefront is now live and integrated into your Clinic Sites website. Patients can browse and shop with ease. Great work taking this step to expand your clinic’s services online.

If you are using Jane to sell products, please be aware that there is currently no way to track your inventory externally through a third-party platform or integration. All inventory management must be done directly within your Jane account.
