How to edit your footer

Learn how to customize and optimize your website's footer for better user experience and engagement.

Your website’s footer is displayed at the bottom of every page, making it a great place to showcase important details about your clinic, like hours of operation, address, and contact information. This guide walks you through customizing your footer layout so that it reflects your clinic’s branding and provides helpful information to visitors.

Before you start

Changes made here will apply site-wide, meaning every page will display your updated footer.

Follow the steps below to access your footer design settings and customize your footer's content and layout.

  1. Click on Admin > Design in your Admin bar. 
  2. Click Footer in the left-hand menu. 
  3. Make any design changes you like by selecting a layout, editing text content, and toggling what you want your Footer to display. 
  4. Click Save Footer to save your progress. 


There are a few layouts to choose from, each displaying your information in a different way. You can select your chosen layout by clicking until the layout is surrounded by a black outline.

 
Footer Design Settings

Settings allow you to change the design settings of your footer, changing the colors, opacity, and height of your footer. You can also add a background photo to your footer. 


You can also add a logo to your footer. This is a great way of adding affiliates or badges. 


Adding extra text can add more definition to your footer. Using the text area also allows you to add images and links as well. 


You can add or remove any information in your footer, by toggling your information on or off. 


You’ve successfully updated your footer, nicely done! Now your footer better represents your clinic and gives patients quick access to important information wherever they are on the site.

If you need to make edits to specific details like your clinic hours or address, you can update them under Admin > Settings.
