Make sure you have admin access, as you'll need it to create pages and modify menu options—both of which require Administrator permissions.

How to create a dropdown menu

We'll be walking through creating a dropdown menu in your navigation bar. A dropdown menu item to the navigation menu will allow people to find new pages you've created and will create a more organized, user-friendly navigation experience.

  1. First, we'll need to make sure we have a page created as a destination. If you need a refresher on creating a new page, you can take a look at this guide on Creating New pages.
  2. Next, you'll be going to Admin > Menus.
  3. From here, you'll click on the Add Link button.
  4. In the Label box, you'll be adding the name of the item you wish to add to your navigation menu.
  5. Next, you'll be clicking the dropdown next to Link to. You'll select the page you want to link to the navigation menu.
  6. Hit the Save Link button to save your progress.

  7. The final step is to arrange your new menu item by dragging it into the correct position.

You're all set to go! Now, when a client looks at your navigation menu, they'll see the new dropdown menu you've just added. To create more dropdown menu items on other navigation menu items, simply repeat the process.

Note

If a page is created without being added to the navigation menu, your clients will not be able to navigate to that page.
